Rapid Quality Manufacturing, Inc. (RQM) is incorporated in 2007 as a manufacturer of precision metal components specializing in additive manufacturing techniques. The concept for RQM came from its sister company, Morris Technologies, Inc. (MTI). MTI has been a leader in the Rapid Prototyping and Product Design field since its inception in 1994. In 2003, MTI was the first company in North America to introduce a revolutionary technology to the marketplace called Direct Metal Laser Sintering, or DMLS. Convinced that we were witnessing the dawn of a new industry, Curt Taylor and the MTI partners proceeded with plans to establish a separate company focusing solely on the manufacture of parts using additive technologies such as DMLS. RQM is North America's first production-focused company for additive metal fabrication and has positioned itself as a world leader in the industry.
RQM makes heavy investment in qualification systems and internalizes capabilities to test raw and consolidated materials. RQM becomes first additive manufacturer to be ISO:9001, AS9100, and ISO:13485 certified, and begins process of certifying to customer standards. RQM continues supporting early technology adopters in the pre-production testing and optimization of what will become some of the first flying DMLS components.
RQM more than doubles DMLS capacity, and invests in internalizing critical secondary processes to further integrate systems. RQM successfully completes audits with several customers and receives approval to supply production hardware on flight engines. Quality systems are further improved, and second generation ERP system is implemented to better control costs and permanent records.

MicroTek Finishing delivers innovative precision surface finishing services using a proprietary Micro Machining Process (MMP). Working from its own treatment labs, MicroTek Finishing provides manufacturers with custom finishes to meet their exact specifications. MicroTek Finishing, LLC has an exclusive license in North America to provide the Swiss company BESTinCLASS's proprietary deburring/polishing method known as the Micro Machining Process (MMP). MMP is a physical-catalyst surface treatment applied to items placed inside a treatment tank. MMP begins with a detailed analysis of the surface state of the item to be treated. The processing parameters required to meet the customer's objectives are then determined with a degree of precision that is unique in the market.
