Quality: A subjective term for which each person or sector has its own definition. In technical usage, quality can have two meanings: (American Society for Quality 2007)

  1. The characteristics of a product or service that bear on its ability to satisfy stated or implied needs.
  2. A product or service free of deficiencies.

Rapid Quality Manufacturing

The Q in RQM stands for quality. The definition of Quality at RQM is the following:

RQM develops processes that assure quality through the manufacturing process and validate the produced quality of finished goods. RQM believes that to be a "Manufacturing Center of Excellence" you must invest in critical testing tools to "validate" raw materials, work in process and finished products.

High precision measurement equipment is used to validate sample coupons and finished products against ASTM standards and customer specifications. This capability adds a new level of quality control at Rapid Quality Manufacturing, Inc.

RQM is equipped with full suite of inspection and qualification technologies, including CMM, flow & pressure systems, uniaxial tensile, LCF & HCF, and powder analysis. These systems allow us to handle any measurement and inspection task quickly and efficiently. Even more importantly, our rigorous inspection systems allow us to build an extensive database for Statistical Process Control.
