RQM, Inc. is applying all of our capabilities in quality, capacity, cost reduction and delivery time improvement to the dental industry with the use of DMLS processes. We work directly with partner dental labs to produce metal dental components. We use the same biocompatible materials used in prosthetic hip and knee joints in order to provide metal sub-structures in a true production environment.

 


Integrated Process Flow:

1. Customer scans “master model” and sends data in order to generate calibration coping
2. EOS machine is “dialed in” for each customer & settings are captured and monitored to ensure quality
3. Customer sends future files to RQM’s FTP upload site.
4. Files are downloaded, inspected, and set up for DMLS build process using 3Shape CAMbridge software
5. Components are built in lot-controlled EOS SP2 CoCr metal powder with Identalloy® traceability  
6. Calibration parts are verified against customer “master model”            
7. Components are stress relieved as necessary based on size and span
8. Support structures are removed and parts are sanded, bead blasted and cleaned
9. Part tags are matched to original order to ensure accuracy
10. Parts are shipped to customer via UPS for traceability
