	A subjective term for which each person or sector has its own definition. In technical usage, quality can have two meanings: (American Society for Quality 2007) 1. The characteristics of a product or service that bear on its ability to satisfy stated or implied needs. 2. A product or service free of deficiencies. RQM, Inc. is a member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and uses industry standard tools within the operation.
	Rapid Quality Manufacturing The Q in RQM stands for quality. The definition of Quality at RQM is the following: 1. Exceeding customer expectations 2. Pursuing ZERO defects in everything we do 3. Managing the standards of our work environment 4. Validating our processes to ensure repeatable product quality results
	Process Validation: RQM believes that to be a “Manufacturing Center of Excellence” you must invest in critical testing tools to “validate” both raw materials and finished products. RQM is developing metal powder analyzing procedures along with the purchase of a new MTS Model 370 metal testing center. The Landmark 370 system will be used to validate sample coupons and finished products against ASTM standards and supplier material specification sheets. This will add a new level of quality control at Rapid Quality Manufacturing , Inc.
